Julie Plec On The Klaus/Caroline/Tyler Love Triangle

There was a jaw-dropping moment at the end of the Vampire DiariesSeason 3 finale — and we’re not talking about the last three seconds of the episode. Before that, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) revealed that he’d taken over Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) body and stolen a kiss from his minion’s girl. Julie Plec told Wetpaint Entertainment at the CBS TCA All-Star Party that Klaus’s antics aren’t over yet when the show returns in Season 4, and Caroline (Candice Accola) isn’t going to be a happy vampire.
As far as Klaus is in Tyler's body. What happens next?
What happens next is some awkward, ill‑timed, mischievous and otherwise naughty high jinks that begin and end quickly enough to still be fun, but definitely make Caroline very indignant.

So Klaus is definitely taking advantage of the fact that he is in Tyler's body?
I don't think he necessarily means to take advantage of that, but there is a moment in which — there is a shirt that comes off under false pretenses. So we'll just leave it at that.

Michael Trevino already said that Tyler comes back into his own body fairly soon. Are we done with Joseph Morgan?
No. Joseph Morgan will be right back. The minute Tyler's back in his own body, Joseph will be back in his. A little bit charred and worse for the wear, but he's a vampire, he can heal.

What should we know about the Tyler, Caroline, and Klaus triangle?
I think the important thing to know is that Caroline loves Tyler deeply. Caroline, especially after the first episode, will continue to loathe Klaus in spite of her strange fascination with him that sneaks in every now and then. Klaus is not giving up on Caroline, but he's by no means going to be a sick puppy dog. In fact, I think, he's going to get some perverse pleasure out of seeking alternate means to drive a wedge between Caroline and Tyler over the course of the season. So it's a slow play. He's a long-term thinker, Klaus.

Paul Wesley Interview - Video

The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley has admitted that he "didn't buy" the shock ending to the third season.

The finale saw Wesley's character Stefan let Elena (Nina Dobrev) drown - and consequently turn into a vampire - after she asked him to save her friend Matt (Zach Roerig) instead.

However, Wesley has now told Digital Spy that he believes Stefan would have ignored Elena's requests in order to save her life.

Spoiler From TV Guide - 15th August 2012

Is there really a chance that The Vampire Diaries' Esther might not be the Original witch?

The mythology of the witches hasn't been told completely. Executive producer Julie Plec explains what's left to uncover. "To clarify what I said at Comic-Con ... when Esther used that spell to make her children immortal, which created the Original vampires, that spell existed already. So who wrote it? That's the question that will remain a question in this season and possibly in the series. We dabbled with the Original vampires, but who were truly the Original witches?"

Spoiler From TV Line - 15th August 2012

Julie Plec is resurrecting original flavor Damon this season. “This year, Damon is the Damon of Season 1, minus the posturing and posing,” she promises. “He just is. He is who he is. He’s got attitude. He’s always right. He’s rarely wrong. He might do the wrong thing, but he’s always the one who’s like, “I told you guys. You should have listened to me.” So this year is going to be very much about, ‘You don’t like me. You want to judge me. You don’t like who I am, how I do things? Well, screw you.’ It’s going to be a great shift for him… He’s still going to be the Damon we know and love — he’s still going to be kicking ass and taking names. But he just has this devil may care attitude about it. He’s just not going to change for anybody anymore. He did that. That’s over. That’s so last year.”

From this we can gather that episode 4 of the fourth season will probably entail a Halloween party. Also, the episode is set to air on November 1st which makes total sense for it to be a Halloween episode.
We have only seen one Halloween episode so far in the entire series, which unfortunately didn't end up to well for Vicki Donovan. Who do you think will be the victim this time? It's a party, in Mystic Falls. There has to be at least on death, right?
